Our handsome, upstanding dog, who achieved so much, and had outstanding temperament, which he passed on. He threw super dark liver pups to bitches who carry the liver gene themselves.
We were devastated to lose Noof Aug 2009 from peritonitis caused by filling from a Kudos dog bed.
Eyes normal, gonioscopy normal, hips 3:5, Patellas normal, brucellosis negative, DNA tested.
He had Stud Book Number (having won 1st at WELKS 2002), has won the Northern England Flatcoated Retriever Novice Working Test. and gained both his Shooting Dog Certificate 'A' and his Show Gundog Qualifier.
His stock are winning awards regularly on the A.V. working test circuit, obedience and agility.
Sire of several SDC Holders . He worked very hard in the winter, picking up on several local shoots, where he was much appreciated by the keepers, and admired by the guns.
His stock won the progeny class FCRS Champ Show 2007 against strong opposition.
His daughter Harvest Moon of Casblaidd, is typical of the all-round standard of his stock. She has not only won a AV Open Working test, 3 Res CC at Welsh Kennel Club, and several times best Liver in Show .
We are also very proud of his very smart liver son Belsud Brown Ace, with Lisa Warren, who won Best in Show at the FCRS Open Show October 2007.
Sire of Am Ch SHR Salasana Steeple Ashton, JH, WCX, CGC, owned by Katy Postrozny . A real global achievement - he was bred by Piia Ulvinen, in Finland out of her Mei Dan Haukansilmä, Rowan is, to my delight, now going on to aim for further working awards.
