Casblaidd Little Archer SDC 'A' KCWGC KCGC (Duncan) born 27th May 2007
Duncan is a superb working dog - an absolute delight in competition. He has gained his Shooting Dog 'A' Certificate, which makes him the fifth generation in a row to gain this award - four of which were Casblaidd dogs. He also has the Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate.
He was awarded the FCRS Culmquill Working Test Trophy 2009 (Joint) . He is qualified to run in Open Working Tests.
He has an outstanding working pedigree, and he is continuing this kennels dual purpose record as well! He has won three puppy tests, beating some dogs twice his age, as well as being well placed in two AV Novice tests at under two years old. He won the Flatcoated Retriever Society Southern Novice Working Test in 2009.
He also won his class in the first Joint Flatcoated Retriever Championship Show 2009.
He carries the gene for liver colour.
Patella tested clear - hips 4:2, elbows 0:0, eyes clear +gonioscopy
He has proved himself a very capable dog in the shooting field, and is steady and quiet. He shows a tremendous hunting abilily, and will hold his area well.
He has some very useful puppies in Austria, Finland, Switzerland Germany and the USA, who are proving themselves not only in gundog work and showing, but also blood tracking and Search and Rescue.
Frozen semen is available for approved bitches.
