Welly has the most delightful easy temperament, and is a very kind gentle temperament. A pleasure to have around. She likes nothing better than cuddling up on a cold winter's evening after a day's picking up.
A natural easy retriever, who enjoys every minute.
She had a wonderful litter of six pups in September 2012 by FTCh Mallowdale Ken of Winhocklin, who is also a very easy dog to train, with a sweet temperament . We look forward to their progress with their new owners. We are delighted that Casblaidd Poppet (Poppy) has been well placed in Novice Working tests with and Novice Field Trials June Bearman, and also that Casblaidd Probably ('Rumba') with Caroline Eley has won three Novice Obedience Competitions in a row, and is now competing Obedience 'A'
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Welly's second litter i. They are sired by Cheeky Tweed from Casblaidd - his first litter to father! One liver boy, one black boy, one liver roan boy and one blue roan boy, and just the one little black girl! They are clear of FN and prcd-PRA by heredity:-)
She proved a most valuable member of our picking up team this last season 2011/2012, and is absolutely stunning on runners and in heavy cover.
